Allignment Problem

Allignment Problem
I just purchased 4 new tires at Town Fair Tire in Massachusetts. I had them do mount ballance and 4 wheel allignment. They didnt do the allignment because they said the front wheels had dust shields on them and the rears required a "special" tool.
FYI My car is lowered.
Does any of this sound accurate? If so what is the tool they are talking about, and is it possible to remove the dust shield?
Any locals to the boston area know of anyone who CAN allign my car?
Also I have 2 tires I am selling... Make me a reasonable offer (See pics)
1- Bridgestone Potenza S-02 (265/35/18)
1- Pirelli PZero Nero All Seaon (255/35/18)
Both Tires have good tread left, I only changed them because I had to change the fronts and the rears were different sizes so did it all at once.

The fronts are readily accessible for adjustments. You do not need to take the dust covers off. Sounds to me that you got lucky and you had a guy make up an excuse for not knowing what he is doing. The rear does require a thin flat wrench to get at the eccentric. 4 wheel alignment is going to cost you somewhere between 150 and 200.
Also looks like the one tire has sidewall damage. You may want to take a close up of that area.

I would contact a preformance shop and see who they recomend..never heard of taking a shild off for an alignment.
I dont think I would use the tire with that chunk of rubber comming off..but may make a good emergency spare

I am trying to sell the tires in the pictures. I got some new hankooks on there now.
Do you have details on how to get access without removing the shields? Also a name for the part needed to do the adjustment?
I want them to do it because it was part of the tire price and don't want to go somewhere else and have to pay $100+ extra.

The adjustment is on the strut. Parts labeled 14 1nd 17 are loosened to adjust the camber. So please tell me how removing a dust shield helps. You are going to end up spending a lot more than 150 when you start fixing stuff that is not done correctly. You are the owner of a Porsche, be it an old one, maintenance is expensive.
