I'd be interested in those wheels as well if they fit an '86 w/o spacers so long as they're not $4,000 with tires! I'll go to $2,000 though.

Here is my dyno chart. I feel I'm runnig lean after 4500 rpm and is costing me a whole bunch of power? I didn't have the air flow meter hooked-up while I dynoed the car. The following dyno was on a Dynojet.

I'll post this for comparison purposes. This is my 86 951 with stock block and stock turbo.
K&N cone intake, HR MAF Stage I (upgraded to III), custom intercooler hard pipes, ARC II fuel controller, ARM1 air/fuel meter, AutoThority Stage II chips, APEXi AVC-R electronic boost controller, shimmed wastegate, free flowing (open) PowerEffect adjustable muffler.

I think with some tuning I could have gotten another 8hp out of it

Somehow a Guru chip fell into my car, I'll have to try it on the stock car and see what it will do. So, Danno, does the top secret chip have boost control disabled? You know, 1 chip does all?

Mars951, those wheels are at the TireRack.com. However, I don't think you can buy them with matching silver centers and polished lips, you'll have to do that through one of the wheel refinishers. Still much less then 2k.

Thanks Dan!

I've seen them at their site. I was hopeful for factory parts.

Mars,

If you buy those wheels, don't take them to the track. I've seen the centers crack and then fail. They are also seriously heavy. I had a set and you can check the weights at Herr Doktor Steve Timmins site.

Yeah, that's why I was asking if they were Mille Miglia's. Those are way heavy and not strong. Bad combination. Wheel Enhancement sells those as "non factory" C2 Turbo wheels.

If I don't have any "wheel finishing" shops in my area, who can polish the outer lips of alloy wheels?

I had previously heard about the Mille Miglia's. I don't currently plan to do any track driving, but that may change. My other choice would be the 3.6 Turbo style but they're closer to $4,000 with new tires!!!!

No easy solution.
