Any idea on the range of fueling adjustments. For instance, what percentage can your increase/decrease the amount of fuel at WOT at 6000 rpm, what about at 2,500 rpm?

It should be pre-programmed to closely match your particular configuration. Optional $280 programmer will allow you to make your own changes later.
"Would this MAP allow me the adjustability to turn down the richness in my midrange? How much of a HP increase would you expect me to get?"
Yes, you can adjust fuel-mixtures in 500-rpm increments. You can even draw an S-shaped curve (rich-lean-rich, vice-versa) or anything else you want.

Depends upon how close to ideal your air-fuel mixture is now. If yours is right on, then not much more can be extracted except for the increased flow from zero intake restrictions. With my MAF-4 kit, I had tuned it as best I could with the ARM-1 display. Dyno testing confirmed that it was too rich at 10.0:1 and 12psi boost. Turning that down to 12.0:1 (with ARC2) or so gained me 70hp! But that caused a high-RPM lean condition that blew my headgasket later.

The 3-D fuel-adjustment map (RPM vs. flow vs. fuel) is overlaid on top of the existing fuel-curve. Adjustments can be up to +/- 100% every 200rpm or so. That means at 2500rpm, you can turn up the fuel 35%, then at 3000rpm, turn it down 50%, then at 6000rpm, turn it up 75%. However, the resultant maximum injector duty-cycle must still fall within the normally-accepted 80% limit, and fuel-pressure will then determine maximum fuel volume. If your injectors are already at 80% or higher near redline, nothing can help you except for larger injectors.

How about this for plug & play installation: 5-15 MINUTES MAX !!! Yes that's right, no wire clipping, twisting, soldering or taping. You can even revert your car back to stock in that time as well...
I'm still having some trouble sourcing a 35-pin DME breakout box though. I'm looking at a custom run of connectors, but that may add to the price of the kit significantly. If anyone has any leads, I'd appreciate it.

That sounds awesome Danno. How soon do you think you'll have it together? My big question is with what device can you control the MAP? An Apexi S-AFC? THe arc2? Or will the Link technology have that capability of adjustment? My A/F curve on the dyno was off the charts, richer than 10.0-1!!! I would love to lean it out there, and have the capability of tuning the top end so i DONT run lean up there. ( Headgasket wasnt cheap to fix). If you can help piece the system out for me, I'll be first in line to step up to the plate.

Let me try and get something straight here. The link / MAP route that Danno is proposing will do everything a MAF does (remove restriction, allow for fuel control), only control fuel better, but the functionality loss / gap between this system and a standalone engine management is in the ability to control timing (which is basically all you're loosing), correct?
Or is there more to the standalone's than this (I'm talking functionality in running, nothing about data logging and such).

Yes you're correct. There are basicly just three parameters that are important in engine-management for each 4-stroke cycle: when to turn the fuel-injectors on, when to turn the fuel-injectors off, when to fire the spark.
The stock computers do this pretty well in stock trim. However, it's when you start doing upgrades that increase the air-flow over stock that you start running into problems. Depending up on the level of upgrades, at some point you will need a complete replacement aftermarket engine-management system. As can be seen from Paul's 400rwhp MAF dyno run lately, bolt-ons can be used for that kind of output.
So yes, ignition timing is the other third of the equation that can't be adjusted with the AFM-Link product. It will however, allow you to datalog numerous parameters to a laptop. Things such as MAP-value, simulated AFM signal, O2-sensor output, etc.

Could you advance timing (or retard) with the DME, while using the Link to increase (or even out) your fuel? Another thing, if the amount of fuel needed can properly be dialed in (using something like the Link), then is the ability or need to control ignition (for retard) even necessary?

Danno, I'm also very interested in your MAP link system. How many mods do you think this system will be able to handle? Will it work just as well or after certain mods, will you absolutely need a stand alone EMS?

Ok, I got all signed up as a Link dealer and TurboTim is building us a prototype one-piece J-pipe w/K&N filter. Next weekend, we're going down to San Diego to dyno test and do the fine-tuning of the fuel-maps. This will most likely be the initial configuration that most people will be using:
- stock K26/6 turbo at 15psi boost
- AutoThority Stg2. chips
- stock wastegate and exhaust
Here's what we're planning on providing with our MAP kit:
- AFM-Link fuel-controller box w/MAP sensor (pre-programmed for above configuration)
- stainless J-pipe & K&N filter (replaces entire intake system and CARB legal too)
- installation kit and manuals
- optional $280 hand-held programmer if you want to make your own changes later (fits nicely into cassette/arm-rest)
This kit will allow you to take boost up to 18psi and 325-350rwhp safely. It will provide the following benefits:
- ZERO intake restriction (no sensors between air-filter and turbo)
- no sensor-flow limits like MAF-sensors
- infinitely fine fuel-adjustments +/- 100% in 250rpm increments (you can design bowl-shaped, S-shaped, snake-shaped fuel-curves; whatever you want)
- datalogging capability to laptop-PC with $80 serial adapter
I've also got a custom-programmed DME chip I'd like to test as well...
