Why don't you get a brand new hybrid from either LR,SFR,VR and have some peace of mind.GL

personally i wouldn't waste money time and effort to swap a k26/6 to a k26/8 to gain an extra 20-30 hp

go for the 27/6 spools like the 26/8 with more power.
