Post BMW 320i turbo questions. ( I have a 944 too)

Hey guys,

Last weekend a friend and I moved an old BMW e21 project car to my house. It's in pretty rough shape, but it does run (poorly) and it does have an aftermarket turbo on it. I'm just having trouble figuring out how it works. The boost controller is a 2 stage unit and it is connected to what I think is a bleeder valve and that is connected to an empty plastic tank. The confusing part is that this valve is also connected to the low pressure intake side of the turbo plumbing.

I have lots of other questions if you feel up to the task

Justin

Probably a dual-port wastegate design with the tank as a vacuum source.

A schnitzer, by any chance? Please advise if you need an e21 sport steering wheel or body parts.
