Default Electronic Boost controller... who is using them??

So I came across this ApexI AVR-C out of a car.... should I put this in my 951??
Im just running a LR Boost Enhancer right now( among other mods, I can list if needed), I just wanna see if this is worth installing ... I do NOT have a DP wastegate yet....

Thanks,

Carl

I used to like the AVC-R, but now I think it's a pain. It is full of features, but I find it has trouble locking in a set pressure, which is the important since it's the control part of the controller. I'd choose a Profec over it if I had to do it all over again.

Mine's mounted in a bracket below the stereo, which is also irritating me lately since it does not really blend with the rest of the interior.

I'm having it mounted below the stereo. My mechanic is doing a ton of work to my car. He is building a faceplate and he is dying the silver rim part black and putting a light piece of tint on the face of the boost controller because he said its very bright, especially at night.

I had my AVCR mounted inside the center console. I loved the AVCR. It gave consistent boost all the time once it was setup.

i'm using HKS EVC 4, very stable, and its the only one using accuator instead of solenoid.
It support stock, DP WG.
Boost level stable, user friendly, just set ur target boost and adjust the boost offset level then u can go.
EVC5 is the latest version and unify the controller and display in one housing.

Are you running a piggy back system on your car? If so you can control electronic boost via the system. I love how the SMT6 controls mine. It is fully tunable and very easy. It is also hidden as to give the car a completely stock look.

I had an APEX, loved it installed it where the ashtray was and had a similar style plastic covering it. You can run ur WG in single port.
