Anyone know a way to contact Dave?
I paypaled him for something a while back and haven't gotten it.

He doesnt answer emails or PMs.

I'm sure he just forgot to ship it, but I need it soon!

It took over a month for him to send me some stuff. I understand he's been real busy with his senior thesis at school. I finally got my stuff and everything was as promised. He even phoned my office last night to check that I'd received everything (Of course, I had already left the office when he phoned, but he did leave a meesage on my voicemail). I'd suggest email him some more. Sorry, I don't have his phone number.

Andre - we found that power steering pump, you should have everything else, and i'll make my best effort to get that p.s. pump out to you this week -- i'm really sorry to everyone that i've been taking so long to get stuff out, it's very unprofessional and uncool, i've just been so damned busy and i'm just one guy, a film student trying to finish his thesis, put together his 951, and help all of these other people, plus hold down two jobs, try and repair a f*cked up 2.5 year old relationship with my girl who's not even in the same state as me, well, you can imagine that 1) i don't get a lotta sleep 2) organization isn't my strongest asset right now and 3) i don't get much free time.

so sorry if stuff is laggin behind, PLEASE, if i owe you something, let me know, i can either refund people or send it out this week, i actually have a moment or two to breath (and hence post on rennlist).

Dave,

Hey, I understand your predicament perfectly. I myself
1. am working 55 to 60 hours a week
2. trying to raise a family and help my kids with school
3. do volunteer work for my professional organization
4. Prepare lectures
5. Teach to post-graduates part-time
6. try to be with my wife
7. work on the 951 etc. etc.
(BTW, Not necessarily in that order, LOL )

I was just trying to tell Turbite that I knew you had been real busy and that eventually, you'd get around to sending him his stuff.

Take care!

P.S. 2.5 year relationship, out-of-state? She must be worth it. Just my 2 cents, but that should be your most important project...but who am I to talk. I'm involved in so many things, somethings I wonder about my sanity.

I wish it could be my most important project, but she isn't as interested / willing to make this work as I am, in fact, I think this is one of those few times in my life I might have to throw in the towel (something I'm not good at: witness, my 951. I should have said 'bye' long ago financially, but i'm no good at giving up).

So basically I'm trying to concentrate on school / my film / my future + career, figuring the relationship / significant other thing will fall into place one way or another. Either I'll be working in a similar geographic area as she is, and she'll realize how good things have been with us (she's rather insecure / not sure who she is, which can't help any of this)... or who knows, I may not be anywhere near her, nor have time to keep things up, so it'll sort itself out. Now that I have a little break from things, I'm looking forward to getting my 951 up and running again, in fact 'she' is one of the few things that keeps me going. I say she beceause my car's just about as fickle / difficult / expensive as any relationship i've had. Never have I had this kind of passion for a project, much less a car at that... *shrugs* perhaps it's a supliment for the failings in my relationship, I'm not going to get too psychological, but needless to say, it's been therepudic and enjoyable.

So yeah, I'm off to work right now and will try and send a lot of this stuff out either at lunch today or this evening, I'll keep you guys posted

Dave,

Yeah, this is beginning to sound like Oprah or Dr. Phil! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" /> LOL <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

Basically, men and women are two different species. We can't stand each other and we can't live without the other. Dilemma!!!!
