You got it! Curil T and the elring seal seam to be the top combo.

My first gasket failed between 500 and 1K miles. I used a Victor Reinz gasket with out using the correct seal arbor tool.
Once I had it all apart I could see the seal was not seated evenly and the rubber outer seal was pushed back at the lower cutout section. The burrs prevented the gasket from seating evenly.
I filed down the burrs on the cutout area, picked up a few elring seals (incase I screwed it up again), the Curil T and the seal arbor tool.

The $130 arbor is worth not having to do it twice, just wish it could be rented instead.
I ended up measuring the seal surface to block and seal surface to crank to thousands of an inch at four positions to be sure the seal was in properly.
To date I have covered about 5K without any leaks.

Good luck to you sir!

Thanks for the advice and the great post Jason. I will pay extra attention to the cutout!

syl-glyde, is a special lube for seals and o-rings, it is not petroleum based, and will last the life of the seal,
