After Alignment, new tires, and balance - get shimmy at 70mph+?

Sounds crazy but give this a try. Mount the wheel with the valve stem opposite the screw that secures the rotor to the hub and put the locking nut on the lug closest to the valve stem. Supposedly these cars came from the factory with this lug painted yellow for this reason. I have found that the position of the locking nut does affect the wheel shimmy at 60-70 mph. You might also try just replacing the locking nut with a plain one or just moving it to a different location. While both the nuts and the locking nuts don’t seem to weigh anything there is quite a difference between them. Worth a try and it doesn’t cost anything.

I have some plain lugs on their way, in fact. I plan on remounting (perfect torque and order) using just regular lugs, and swapping sides...
I do not know if I trust the 'bent' diagnostic... they should have caught that the first time they balanced it, but they put it in writing on the second tab (which was 0.00).
