Hypertech Chips?

Hypertech Chips?
Has anyone ever heard of and/or used hypertech chips? They came in a goody bag from the PO however the car has AA stgII installed now. The DME has a copywrite of 88' on it and the KLR has a copywrite of 93' on it.
