i miss that show!
I'll be leaving for europe next month so the car mostlikley wont be on the road untill i get back but the plan is when i get back to put a muffler on it. not to sure which one yet.
I wouldn't mine to take it for a drive around town with a straight pipe

Because of major delays with my GTX3076R i wont be receiving it untill 3 weeks time! which kind of sucks because i'm going on holidays for 3 months to Europe. So there will be no updates untill August.
So my original plan of getting my car running before i leave now wont work.

This arrived in the mail back in Aussy, i got sent some pictures just to confirm it's arival with all the parts.
All that's left is the TiAL hot housing to arrive which is now .82 a/r (had troubles locating a .63 a/r) so now i have no idea what im expecting from this turbo.

Finally home from europe! has stacks of fun but now it's back to the real world!
I picked up my turbo (GTX3076R TiAL a/r .82)
There's some white paint or marker on 1 of the compressor blades. not sure if i'm supose to leave it or take it off? any one know??

Three Wheelin'
That is just a reference mark used so they can know the orientation of the wheel while balancing, you can get rid of it if you want but it doesn't make any difference. It'll work itself off eventually through use.
Also, that is sure purdy. Any reason you went with the GTX3076 instead of the 71? Seems like since the GT30R is a good fit for our cars, going with the GTX3071R would get you the flow of a GT30R with the nasty spool of the smaller compressor wheel.

yeah i'm just going to leave it there.
that is correct with the gtx 3071r. reason i chose the 76r because looking at the compressor maps on both of them i'll be sitting around the same efficiency % but the 71r will be doing alot more Rpms at the same boost level, another 10,000 more Rpm according to the compressor map (which i dont think is much for a turbo). And i've been thinking bigger displacement in the future and could just use the same turbo with out running out of breath. so to me going the 76 shouldn't hurt much and would be alot of fun with top end. Also with some reasearch the gtx3076r gains ~10-15 hp over the gt3076r
and the lag might keep me out of touble
