Well - a little OT but I beleive the Cayenne Turbo S with that twin turbo V-8 does 0-60 in the mid-low 5s range. Now that's quick. There was a good article in Porscheorama a while ago. Nice looking SUV too - they just got one at the dealership here - the Caynenne S is worth a mere 96 grand canadian. The Turbo S is expensive and has more front grill (need it to chill those 450 horses) than a mack truck. Still on my wish list though - a SUV that can outhandle and out accelerate most sports cars

Oh, and the GT2 is also on my wish list !

The 951 is going to have some TOUGH competition with the Cayenne turbo... I raced a Mercedes ML55 and pulled very slowly up to about 130 where I really took off.

The Cayenne will outperform the ML55, so it'll definately outperform a 951 and a stock 951S

Driven the Cayenne turbo. Its faster than my slightly modified 951S. Imagine the words slightly modified for the Cayenne turbo...

That engine would be great in a 928GT/GTS. <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

if the cayenne Turbo is faster than your moded 951 then the "Gt2" that you raced was just a 996 with 320 HP as this is slightly faster than the cayenne Turbo S. the older 996 is as fast form 0-200 km/h as the Cayenne Turbo.
Are you sure it was not a 996 with Gt2 optic package? the Gt2 is some car lengths in front of the 996TT ant this is another 2 car lenghts in front of the 993 TT and this is some other car lengths in front of the 996 320 HP. The 320 HP 996 is as fast as a well moded 951 with MAF k27 etc and about 8 sec faster than the stock 951 from 0-200 km/h.
Hard to believe than an original GT2 is so slow unless you have a big Turbo and you are running at least 1.5 bar or the GT2 didn't went full throttle. If you have just chips the difference should be about 10 car lengths behind the GT2.
