Waiting for Mr. Turbo
The block, head, and crankshaft are back from Mike Stimson at Pacific Performance, very nicely machined I might add. Crank was lightened and knife edged. The entire drivetrain up to the pressure plate was Hines balanced. Block was honed and deck lightly refaced. Head has LR springs. Head and block O-ringed. Block/head painted with Eastwood ceramic 2-part polyurethane, which is pretty good stuff: http://www.eastwood.com/ew-ceramic-e...-aluminum.html
I went a little wild with a Horror Freight powder coating gun. Powders from http://www.propowdersupply.com/ (Super durable red and Mirror Yellow)
Now I'm mulling my options for an upgraded turbo and engine management.
