Default 944 trailer

Saw this on another forum and hadn't ever seen it done to a 944 before.

And even more of various cars: http://forums.motivemag.com/showthread.php?4814436

I've seen a couple of trailers built out of 944s. But that's a cool one!

That first one is a classic, the second one I've never seen before.

Over here in the ‘states we have many things that have every last detail over regulated….and then we have somethings that we are allowed to do anything we please including endangering others!

One of my favorites is that you can buy and drive a 40’ 30,000 lb motor home without any training, licensing or qualification. There is no age limit to drivers licensing – if you are 90 years old you are still considered to be a qualified based on a driver license test that you took when you were 16. I wonder what was on the driver’s license test in 1921???? (BTW – for those of you that are not in the US – the drivers license test is only a test about regulations. There is no ‘skills’ test – there used to be a parallel parking test but they dropped it, it seems it was too hard for many people…..)

As far as registering a trailer – very minimal requirements. Basically they just check for lights.

thats the problem with designing a country that is dependent on the automobile.

Interesting, thanks for the info Chris.
To tow a car on a trailer in Sweden you need an additional license with theory and driving tests involved. It ends up at over $1000 just to get that license!

We're just better drivers over here. For proof, look at how US drivers have dominated F1 for years...

That's what happens when you design a country that caters to the lowest common denominator.
