Post Back in the saddle again!

After 2 months my 951S is finally back, and it kicks butt so much I wanted to share.

The job started with a clutch and reseal job, which went to hell when I agreed to have the head gasket done - #2 cylinder wall was scored in a big way. So my wrench got a 60k mile M/42 engine from 944 Ecology which he rebuilt. Had the valves done, all hoses replaced, trans resealed, intercooler cleaned out, and a general laying on of hands. Paid the largest shop bill I've ever seen, but the change is substantial.

Boost comes on earlier, peaks faster, and holds more - I haven't been able to observe the guage closely, but it's up near 2 bar. Big grins - can't wait for my next DE.
