Default Pictures of my car.

Hi guys,

The car is running really well. We are still tuning. Unfortunately, we hear some noise from the transmission. We are pulling it to fix whatever is beginning to wear out.

Here are a few pictures. The car is very dusty in these photo's.

Good. We didn't boost the car till yesterday. The wastegate didn't open.....hit 25psi immediately in 3rd gear. Never hit 4K. This turbo is creating boost at idle. The wastegate was hooked up wrong. I'm pissed that we have to pull the transmission. I don't want to break it, and the noise sounds like bearings going.

Too bad about the wastegate being hooked up wrong! After boosting to 30+ on the freeway because my boost controller lost power, I've become a true believer in programming the engine management to cut the ignition if boost goes above a certain level -- there are just too many ways for a wastegate to stay closed, even when they are properly installed. Just something to think about.

As for the tranny -- I can't remember, are you using a 968 tranny? After blowing my open dif tranny in spectacular fashion, I installed a used LSD unit, which was ok at first but then started making odd knocking sounds after heavy runs. I had Keven Gross build me a LSD unit with hardened grears from the S trannies, and installed it before the other one blew up too. So far so good and Keven was great to work with.

Nice build man! Love the D9 Headlights and such, hopefully the trans will work out cheap and easy.

Good advise. I'll find out if this feature is available on the TEC GT. This is a 968 with a Porsche Motorsport LSD. I'm going to install a higher 6th gear while it's apart.

When I look at your car I sit here in utter shock, that thing is ridiculously beautiful. Your build is amazing.
