Default Does anyone know where to buy the Silver Rose Metallic (Silberrosa L M3Z]('88TurboS)

It seems that the only way to be able to get touch-up paint is to go this route..
Maybe, I will buy it, and then make up some small bottles for others on the board that need it ...?
Any ideas welcome
Best regards
Ed

I did a few searches last night looking for info and some guys were kind of suspect about these guys .. one guy claimed that he got 3 samples of the same color and they all were different
Anyone else have experience with these guys ?
I would bet that this color can be a real PITA to match
Thanks Spencer

When I had my car re-painted in 2007, they could not look up the color recipe using the code. They ended up taking a special camera to the paint and matching it that way. I actually have some if you need some. Gimme a holler.

it's the quantity that fouls things up. mis-mix a quart by a drop, not that big of a deal. mis-mix a nail polish tube by a drop and it's huge.

Your local PPG global dealer can mix you some.

Over the years I've had a few different body shops match that color for me. I've never had it better than 95%...

Something domestic, like PPG. This has been both with code recipes and the "scanner". The hue and amount of metal flake is was seems hardest to duplicate. Also, the color of the primer will make subtle color differences (e.g. white, light gray, dark gray, greenish gray, etc.)

There are so many variables when it comes to matching color, many of which are in the actual spraying technique. Trying to match ANY metallic paint for touch up purposes is a long shot.

Hey Guys
I hear ya ... I have hear the same thing on the metallic colors ... That's why I never bothered to get the car painted ... unless you are doing large swaths of the car ... Ironically, the original touch up I had( which dried up) was not even close to the color on the car ... It was way too silvery
There is something to be said for not having a car, with metallic paint.....
Best regards
Ed

Thanks Guys
