Need help with ride height and adjustments on Bilstein Cup Coilovers
So I installed the bilstein coilovers that are sold by paragon and am having problems with the rear ride height.
I have them all the way turned down on the coilover adjustment and they still are sitting higher that my koni sport shocks. I have adjusted the eccentric bolt all the way down but this only moved them a tiny bit since I had adjusted them before putting the konis on.
I am running a 968 mo30 sway in the rear and still have stock torison bars which I would like to keep in.
Any help would be appreciated, it seems weird to me that I cant get coilovers to go any lower.

Have to reindex the t-bars when running coilovers, even at very low helper spring rates.
Might be able to run real short springs, 6" or so, so the car is sitting all on the torsion bars at ride height and the helpers are not compressed, but that is not a good setup for various reasons.

Your rear spring rate is too high for use with torsion bars. If you have the stock TB in place your total effective spring rate in rear based on some rough calculations is (0.40 * spring + torsion bar) = ~350#. This means your front springs should be 583# to get an equivalent effective spring rate in the front. Usually the max rear springs for a street car running with TB is ~250#.

Well first - did you buy the full front & rear bilstein setup from paragon? Or did you just get the rear coilover shocks? If just the rears, what struts are you running in front? And either way, what spring rates are you running on the front?

I noticed the same thing. Even completely unweighted (springs rattling around freely) the car sits slightly higher. I run the factory Tbars with 250lb springs that have no preload when the car is still and level. This setup gives me a good balance on the track, but is very rough on the street.
