Post Unknown plug besides the battery (pic)


Does anyone know what this item does (circled in red)? I've been told it's some sort of sensor for the air conditionning. But there seems to a be a part missing.

It's the exterior temp sensor for the a/c system. There's a bracket it clips in under the plastic shroad.

And in that comdition it is quite certainly u/s... Is your car cold? If you get heated air in only when you set your temp adjustment **** to full hot (+27 or more) reason is this.
I just replaced mine,it seems to work now.

The local P-car dealership seemed reluctant to work on the car, but they claimed that the condensor was leaking and that was the cause for the non-functionning A/C.
