I've been thinking about lag times on the 60-1 and this thread came up so I thought I'd ask rather than starting a new thread.
Are these supposed to be particularly laggy turbos? I've searched the forums and there seem to be different results. I have a garret t04e 60-1 with a turbonetics hotside http://s13.postimage.org/j84vg73fp/turb.jpg, I wasn't able to measure the wheel or anything but I get positive pressure near 3000rpm and it takes another 1000rpm or so to hit 1 bar from there. I have a pretty free flowing exhaust but I'm still using an afm.

He was looking at doing it, but i guess there's not much of a market for it. Search the user Dnovak, he's doing some custom exhaust setups. speak to hiim
