Smoke under hood... help?

Smoke under hood... help?
Well, I've noticed lately that after I get back from work (~20 min drive), while I'm going down my steep driveway, some smoke comes out from under the front right of my hood. It doesn't smell like gas or oil-- any ideas? The color isn't really bluish either. By the time I park & open the hood it's gone, and I can't figure out where it's coming from!

Ok I guess I should clarify when I say front right. I meant front right while in the driver's seat; facing the car it would be on the front left side. It would seem to me that coolant would be more likely to come from the other side, as that's where the overflow tank is, no?
