Default hose and fitting

87 951...The hose coming off the intercooler charge pipe has a banjo fitting connected to the pipe, and is hose clamped to the octopus (control line...manifold) under the intake.
There is no separate part no. for it in the cat., guess it is part of the control line (il. 107-25,pc.1).
Have been looking for a banjo fitting w/barb to just clamp a hose on, but haven't found one yet.
Another idea I have is to cut the crimp and clamp a hose onto it. I am not really sure if that would work. and I wouldn't want to "hose" anything up since I don't have anything to replace it with yet. Oh yeah, the hose is cracked, but does not appear to be leaking yet, so I want to beat it to the punch.. think this eventually ends up at wasegate.

Anyone gone thru this before? Know where I can get a fitting...or will the fitting I have work after cutting thr crimp off?
thanks, Ken

New ones include the line.. but at $458 aren't cheap!

If you cut off the crimp, you can use any standard line with hose clamps.. I used silicone vacuum hose when I removed the octopus... worked fine for me!

Plenty of different ways you could go with this... simplest would be to ditch the banjo and just put a barb fitting on.

5/16ths (if I recall correctly) fuel hose with some crimps on each end will fix that up on the cheap. Can pick up all the parts at Autozone. Be careful with the plastic fittings on the KLR if you're replacing those as it can get brittle over time and break.

Dang, onspeed, I didnt even think of that, had the mindset of the banjo having to be there. Just need to find one with the right thread.
Think I will go with JoKa for now though, quick fix!
I do appreciate the input, and quick response...def. was Not going to buy the complete assy.,no matter what.

You can see mine here... banjo to vacuum line, it was tight but fit, and worked great until I tore the car limb from limb!

Yup, just cut the crimp and add some fuel or silicone hose to reconnect to the hard vac line. No biggie.
