Kind of hard to see at an angle but it look like an after market 3 bar MAP sensor without a vacuum line connection. That is a bad way to run the wires, they can get cut on the sharp metal edge under the weatherstrip.

Definitely an aftermarket MAP sensor. You could remove it or hook it up if you need a MAP down the road and it's still in working order.

It's not connected yet

i think he is talking about the round connector behind the map sensor at the firewall. If so, it is for cruise control, I dont have cruise in my car either..

Sorry for the crappy and confusing picture.
I've actually never seen a 951 with cruise control, thought it was a diagnostics connector.
I'm gonna cut it and seal it withsome adhesive lined shrink tube, there is just too much electrical stuff in this car..... gonna remove the TDC sensor and connctor as well.

Might think about cutting off the plug and pulling the cable back to the cruise control unit inside the car and remove all of it.
