Here's my vote for H&R RSS Clubsport. Based on Bilstein Escort but with more "modern" tuning.
I'm with Tony on not running (too much) rear bar.
I tune the handling with ride height/RC.

While access to the rebound adjustment is tight on my car (and can be a little frustrating to adjust), I can get to it w/ the supplied tool or short length of stiff wire. My exhaust also gets in the way a little on the driver's side.

I'm using a bolt longer than the factory bolt to get clearance between the trailing arm and spring hat. At the time I bought my Clubsports, nobody made an adapter. 5 years later and I'm still using the same set of bolts with no issues.

When dialing in my shocks, it didnt' take me that long. I have a good baseline at the various tracks I run to start from. Sometimes I'll make a 1-click adjustment to see if my times drop, but they usually don't. Considering the track I run most frequently is Summit Point (which has had it's share of surface changes over the last 4 years), I find the adjustability to be indispensible. If you're running the same track all the time, then in theory a non-adjustable shock (after you get it revalved to be just right) can be as fast as an adjustable one. But throw in a surface change, spring change, etc. and you're watching the adjustable guys pull away.

The 315 square setup changed everything. With so much front grip it allowed me to go up in my front spring rate 100lbs to 550lbs (rear is still 650lbs). Then it was the rear that needed a little more grip on low/medium speed flat corner exits... with the bar already at full soft, I just disconnected it.... and wow. I even took the rear wing down a few degrees.

The car is dead nuts on. It's the best it's ever been.

The car is in the 1:27 range on worn NT-01s' at Willow Springs International Raceway. With slicks, the car will pick up a full 2 seconds. That puts it into the 1:25 range... and that puts the car head to head with the fastest of the fast. (still without ABS!).

I'm very happy with my Moton Clubsport and feel that it's an improvement over Bilstein Escort Cup. The car feels smoother and a bit more "compliant" on the track.

The pictures show another way of mounting the reservoirs (note that I have custom lengths on the hoses and quick disconnects.

I couldn't mount the resevoirs on the strut brace, with the AC tubing there wasn't enough room on the left side.

Oddjob, I am not certain as to the source as they were on the car. I believe, however, they were Racers Edge products.

Is there any advantage having a quick connect/disconnect set up?
Do you fill the canisters with air or nitrogen?

The advantage is that you only need a 20mm hole to get thru the body which makes canister placement easier, especially in the rear.

Nitrogen, but they were delivered with the pressure I wanted.

Awesome ideas Tony, thank you!

I am restricted to 44" total wheel width for the series I wish to run in. So I'm thinking 10.5" fronts and 11.5" rears. My intention was to run the R80 slicks with 305s front and 320's rear. The actual tread width is almost square with 11.8" fronts and 12" rears. It will be interesting to see how these go.

we have no limits on width really, my new rims are 18x11 + 18x12.5" 295 fronts/335 rear. can run 215 fronts as well.

DEA, is that biltema battery? I have the same exact unit

Don’t forget about rain….huge set up changes needed for rain!

It is, probably not the best battery in the world but it's lightweight

I'm a bit odd I'm getting everything else adjustable before i worrying about adjusting valving .
so seperate camber Castor front.
seperate toe and camber rear.
adjustable sway bars .
adjustable bumpsteer/towcurve
adjustable brake set up
and adjusting wheel sets from 17/9 up to 18/10
I'm not convinced bigger is always better on a budget.. I'm not so sure my 18x10s can justify there extra weight ..

I have a bunch of wheels, I have done setups on angles, but everything relates, really gotto write stuff down.

on rain my setup with the KW + cup tires were plain SCARY, I went up o rouge in 4th and 5th gear sideways, and I could continue to go sideways the entire straight, also under boost in 5th gear, pretty much regardless of speed, it would send car sidways when it it.

would be interesting to see what kind of angles people here run, I've only compared it to a few other local 944's but we dont have that many race rigged here, only 2-3 fast ones in entire country.
