shift linkage at trans is loose?

The bolt under the rubber boot is tight.
The intermediate lever seems to be worn out. I am not sure if the one piece is plastic or not.

heres a picture from clarks garage that I modified to show you how it moves.
-The green arrow points to the piece that is worn out.
-The blue circles are the spots the plastic is worn out.
-The red arrows show the direction the plastic piece moves from side to side when gear shifter is in 3rd gear.

I have the same issue... fixed the shifter play up front but still have movement coming from the shift linkage. From what I can tell, the plastic "intermediate shift lever" that is worn out is not available from Porsche, so the only option is to replace it with a short shifter kit. If anyone has a source for the plastic part I would love to know.
