Default Lindsey Racing Oil Cooler Kit (coming soon)

We have a new Oil Cooler Kit coming out for the 944T. It replaces the stock
cooler and lines all together. It has about 4 times the cooling capacity of the stock cooler.

We are not posting much more about it today, but wanted to get something mentioned in case you're doing winter tear downs and upgrades and were
looking to do something in this department.

This will be the Big Kahuna of the oil coolers. Nice kit, no old parts used.

It can also be used on a 944 with other mods and/or accessories to adapt.

Of course, i just finished installing mine. If looks good enough, I may swap over.

Will it be front mount? Can you post dimensions of cooler?

Thanks
Steve

good to hear, wouldn't mind replacing mine before returning to the track, something that fits in the stock location hopefully!

How soon & how much?

I was actually about to put together my list and order what I need to install a Setrab cooler...I can wait a bit if the release & availability is imminent.

If the price is good and the size is minimum 25 rows I'm in for one of these.

Interested depending on where it mounts and price.

I would be surprised if the "4x higher cooling capacity" did not result in a significant drop in oil pressure.

Lets hope it's a front mount solution, the sides are really packed if you for example have brake cooling hoses.

Well, the front is really packed when running a front mount intercooler...!

We should have them in hand by the end of next week, or beginning of
the following week. So we are bringing.

Front Mount. The core istelf is 24" long, 2-1/4" thick, 3-1/2" tall. End it end is 26-3/4" Attaches to stock mounting points on the car and uses -12 lines. Comes with cooler, hardware, pre-assembled lines, -12/22mm replacement fittings for oil filter counsole.

The hardest part about installing this cooler will be changing the fittings on the oil filter counsole. It's much easier with the engine out of the car which is one of the reasons we are posting now. "Can" be done in car, but it probably easier to remove that counsole from the engine and swap the fittings on the bench. Put a new housing gasket in while it's off.
