Default Any use for a separate oil pressure gauge?

Buying an oil temp gauge on sale and they also had oil pressure gauges with peak recall.
Question is if I really need one.....

Yes I thinks so. I put one in and I'm between 60 and 70 psi with my new 3.0L engine. 1 hour run time so far.
My stock gauge is just maxed out past 5 but without the new gauge I would not have any idea how high.

My 2 cents

I put in a secondary because i was also interested to see what the oil pressure was doing beyond what the factory gauge reads. It was interesting to see what the oil pressure actually goes up to on a cold start and the little changes in 1-2psi you dont see with the factory gauge at other times.
