Default Batwing Mounting Hardware

Hello,

I'm looking for mounting hardware for the front bumper batwing on my 944 turbo. I'm mainly looking for the tapping screws (9) and speed nuts (9) to mount this piece. I found it on AutoAtlanta, but with shipping it's 27$ for these, which is a bit steep for what it is. Anyone have these laying around or have a cheaper solution.

Thanks

These parts usually don't stand up to the elements well. I would buy them new as opposed to used.

I'll make it even easier:

1. Go to Home Depot or Lowes (aisle #1 in a new Lowes, aisle #17 in old Lowes, aisle #13 in medium sized Home depot, ailse #19 or 20 in a large one)

2. Go to the bins (or get salesman)

3. Get 9~ 8mm LONG speed nuts (they will be black anondized in bags of 4)

4. go two bins over, and get 9~1.25" long x 8mm automotive trim screws with self containing washer)

5. TOTAL= $4.17

Enjoy

Both have them in phillips or flat, HD has them in allen as well. It is the same fastener vendor/company that stocks both stores I think, so the bin set-ups are identical, except for the labeling on the outside of the bin drawers.

I usually have more luck finding them at Lowes when I need a handful. Otherwise I buy bulk from Crest Automotive Fasteners.

*edit- Actually the last few times I have purchased the screws in SS, and bought the neoprene backed SS #10 washers (slide on easier over a #8 screw).

Exactly! Not sure why so many have to have "porsche parts"

Sorry folks, but a screw and washer is a screw and washer.
