Default leather seat repair

i'm keep an eye out for seats for my car, as the driver's side is beyond thrashed. a pair of reasonably priced sport seats just popped up, and they're in good shape except for a couple of tears in the bolster:

any ideas on how difficult this would be to repair? if it's something i can do, i'd be ok with that to keep costs down.

thanks!

www.928leather.com for a full cover or get a quote from your local shop. If you don't know of a good shop, ask a top detailer or body shop in your area for a referral.

A local shop can recover these with leather-like vinyl for less than half the cost of high quality leather. It looks just like leather. I did my dash with a top quality leather-look vinyl. Looks like new, and I don't have to Lexol it weekly.

Hello, Check out the link below as they have instructions on how to repair the leather cuts and the dye to match.

Here's a link to my thread on refinishing/redying my sport seats. I didn't have rips do deal with but you'll want to follow a similar process to what I did to refinish the rest of the seats.

Good luck and keep us posted!
