(UPDATE...pull was in third gear) Dyno Heartbreaker today!

You have one of the all time most knowledgeble folks on 951's in your backyard, Don Istook over in Ft Worth. I'd track him down and get his help. He's forgotten more about 951's than most of us will ever know, and he taught me an awful lot of what I do know. He was cutting back on working on Porsches last I talked with him to focus on racing Audi's, but I'd be very surprised if he was out of the game completely.
Take the car to him, you won't be sorry.

I called and asked them to adjust the graphs...he tried to argue with me saying that we have been looking at other duno graphs (Mustang, DynoJet, etc.).
NO, I have been searching threads looking at graphs INCLUDING Dyno Dynamics graphs. The scales are lined up!!
He reluctantly said he would do it after telling me I wasn't hearing him.
If I would have had a good experience I would have named the shop..heck i took pics out front of the car by their sign planning to post them!

Also try to get the SAE corrected and raw data printed out as a table.
Instead of a graph, it will be tabled out with all of the information by rpm. If they can't figure out their software, at least you can do some data entry and graph it out in excel.

"Phlip" did the installation (turbo upgrade, wide fire, steam vent, venturi delete, etc.) and suggested I could benefit from a "tuner' after the upgrades he performed.
The car is VERY close to what I want right now
It sounds like maybe the car could spool a little faster. Phil has a 3" stainless exhaust that I think he's going to part with. That may be a nice start too...

hahaha....I think I've got all I'm gonna get out of them (only out $85)
I had hoped that my AFR was reasonable and was hoping for 300-310HP. I've got a winner on both those. I think I do anyway?
Can't help but laugh.

The whole time i felt like I was being up-sold, and that's fine as it's a business...HOWEVER I feel you should build relationship first! I was kept at an arms length and was NOT well informed. Didn't feel the love
NOTE: any local Rennlisters are welcome to PM for details!

I just sent the following e mail:
>>
Bret,
Thanks for your help in adjusting the charts so that HP/TQ lines up on the graph. If possible the raw data printed out as a table would be great if your software allows that. I look forward to getting the adjusted charts and data if possible.
QUESTION: Were the pulls made in fourth gear?
I was kept so far from the whole process it was difficult for me to know and learn what was going on...which was a big part of what I had hoped for with this experience. I would have very much preferred more communication during the process.
