hey guys, i can't seem to find the post of what the part # is for the stubby temp sensor for the aux. water pump.

anyone know?

This is the one you use for an oversized turbo to such as a 27/6 etc?

If you relocate the waterpipe and the intake manifold interferes with the sensor, then you can use that as a substitute. If you are clever and can relocate the pipe so that the sensor clears, you can re-use the stock sensor. One thing expressed to me when looking at the low profile sensor, is that it does not trigger at the same temp as the factory unit (wether it's colder or hotter I do not know).

Look on the PDF I attached above, it is the VDO catalog page for the OE temp switches used on the turbo water pump. You can also use them for an oil temp warning.

so that has to get up to 230F before it opens? isn't that too high?
