I think just about anything except Armor All will do your dash some good. Armor All is terrible stuff, and i wouldn't be surprised if it was a leading cause of 944 dash cracking!

I use some synthetic space-age Meguiars stuff. Works well!

The solution si simple. Move to Norway where it is always cold, even in the summer. For the small cost of cold summers and parking your Porsche close to 6 months every year due to cold weather, the days of cracked dash will be gone forever.

i sanded the cracked, burnt, dead vinyl out of mine (took a couple hours) then filled in the cracks with devcon.


then some more sanding. you would never guess the surface of my dash was ever redone.


thanks to all the surface prep, and SEM vinyl dye, the dash looks good again.
