Default APE Maf potentiometer broke.

Can I just go to radio shack and buy one that tunes to 2.2k ohm? The one they supply isn't anything special right? Might be a dumb question. Also, it has to be 2.2k acorss the connector leads, anyone know how much added resistance is is the unit and the wiring so I know what ohm range i need?

And on the AFM, the air temp sensor resistance is read on the last two plug terminals. Therefore, the APE potentiostat, basically acts as the air temp sensor i think, should also read on the last two terminals right?

Yep.
Any basic pot will work, and yes acts as the AIT input.

You knowledge on MAF systems is amazing.

I just wasn't sure because there's an old thread on the pelican forum where some 911 driver had his pot break. He ordered a new one from APE under the advice of another 911. for 90$.

Do you know the range? There's like 1k, 5k, 10k, 100k... And the watt rating?

Watt rating is low enough to not really worry about, anything above .1watt with 5k range should be fine.

There are two standard types of pot taper -- log and linear. Make sure you get 2.2K linear taper, not 2.2K log taper.
