Default Playing with some mustangs later

One is a 2003 cobra with full exhaust, cai, and a 15% pulley on stock blower. The other is a 2008 GT500 with full exhaust, drag radials, smaller pulley, cai, and headers. I think I may meet my match with the GT500...

One of the "perks" of my job is taking home different demo's each week (a mixed bag considering the Saab 9-5 I have this week..haha).

One of my favs so far was a GT500, it was a brute! Full on power shifts were a breeze and pulled super hard. It did have BAD wheelhop from a dead start though.

My guess is you'll lose that one...no shame in that though

I haven't seen a side-by-side, but i would bet the '03 is nearly as fast as the GT500, stock for stock. It's down on horsepower, but also ~400lbs lighter.

If by 'playing' you mean rolling along and pushing down the right pedal for a few hundred yards then you will lose. If buy 'playing' you mean proper racing a well modified 951 with sorted suspension on a track with some high speed corners and heavy braking...I'm backing the 951.

Those are probably both low 12, maybe high 11 cars. Terminators are no joke, even in stock form. Faster than the new 5.0s.

Those cars are made for rednecks who don't know how to turn. The 951 was made with a bit more in mind... 20 years ago.

So yeah, they'll win the highway warrior races

He's in Texas. Roads here were set down with a straight edge. You could probably count the decent driving roads in this state on one hand and have fingers to spare.

Man, you guys have no faith. With a bit of boost, and from a roll, he will hang with them fine.
