Default can someone with an autothority MAF please check something for me

I was looking at the wiring and the connector that connects to the stock afr wire . The connector has a couple wires and it has a green wire. Mine has the green wire cut off just after the plug. Is yours cut off or not used too?
Thanks Rennlist

mine is very old... but i believe there's a potentiometer for like fine tuning or something. the maf kit is from like 1995.. so it might not be the same.

The potentiometer is wired to the outer two pins on the rectagular end of the harness. On mine, the wires are blue and black. It is around 9-10 years old.

Green wire in the factory harness is the VAT (Air Temp) wire. APE didn't use a air temp sensor in the MAF meter so there is no reason to connect anything to it. They clamped the signal in their software.
