Give Paul at ProtoSport a call. I highly recommend them. They do some of the best work I've seen!

My vote is for Gene Kirschner. Autohaus-- www.autohausclassiccars.com
He's been a member of NNJR since the 70s. Loves older, air-cooled cars and is genuinely honest with what you need and don't need. He's also more than happy to teach you future self-help stuff if necessary and opens his shop Saturdays for guys/gals that just want to use his lift or get him to oversee any DIY work-- free of charge. Maybe just buy him coffee.
