Mine was over 200,000 miles when it got foreign object damage, working well up to that point.

I have 190K on the original unit. Car has always been well maintained and I am careful to let it idle for about half minute before shutting it off after using a lot of boost.

Had 150-160k on 26/6, no smoke, drove it like I stole it all the time at up to 18psi. It was previous owners drive to track, drive around track and drive home car so it was always pushing psi.

Sold the car eventually.

How hard is it to rebuild a KKK 26/8. I have oil in my pipe going to the intercooler and was wondering what my options are. What was the price of that rebuild, Willard?

Is there a ton of oil in the pipe, like pooling and generally slobbery? Or just some residue? It's normal to have small amounts of oil in there.

Over 230,000 miles on my '89 -Still strong boost.

-ALWAYS cooled down carefully, and NEVER boosted until warmed up.
