Thanks everyone for the reassurance on where to tap the boost gauge into. I was little worried about tapping into the KLR line, but since most have it seems to be an okay option. Didn't want to mess something up.

Does everyone use crush fittings or just a T made for the boost line? Also could I get a T at the local autoparts store?

Oreilly has a rubber T with the reducer built in in their vacuum line section, so no need for 6 different pieces to make the T. I can't remember the sizes off hand, but you should be able to figure it out looking at the packages. I assume they still have it anyway, it has been a few years since I got one there.

I used a small metal T, silicone hose, and small zip ties to ensure nothing popped off.

I personally prefer this over the cubby as its a lot more visible while driving but thats me.

Replace the screw that holds the trim piece on with a longer screw, no drilling or anything needed.

Oh...I like this! I have my boost gauge wedged into the cubby which works fine though low visibility.

I think I'm going to mount it just like this..thanks!

There was a thread a while back about a 'lister that made a gauge pod that mounted behind the steering wheel that looked really good, anybody got a link to that thread? Its worth taking a look at.

+1 on the KLR tap, thats where mine is, nothing fancy needed to secure it, ty-wraps wirked fine for me.
