Default Which strut brace to go with.

Which strut brace does everyone prefer(Brey Krause,KLA and Racing Dynamics)? Are there any to stay away from? Are there any changes that maybe needed on installation?

I like my KLA one, but not sure any one design is better than another.

Skip the Racing Dynamics bar – it looks nice but the mounting is kind of obnoxious and it is a pain to remove when you want to do any work (and it’s a 944 turbo….so you will need to do some work on occasion!)

^ looks similar to the factory turbo cup bar, very nice

I do also really like the KLA brace, its reasonably priced as well.

If you can find a used one, the Dynatech braces were really nice.

details on this bar please, like how much, where do you get it, and are the mounting brackets welded to the towers or just bolted?

Brackets are welded. It is a replica 944 Turbo Cup brace.

you have my vote for racing dynamics. I have it in my street car....no issues. if you have a clean engine and bay its worth it....looks great.

I second on the Racing Dynamics bar, and I can have it on and off in two minutes, plus it looks nice.

KLA for me too. They work well as a hood prop when you're working on the car! I like being able to pre-tension the bar.

Don't expect the KLA to do much, it's pretty wimpy.
