Default DAMN PO! (a.k.a. look at this alarm I pulled from the car...)

2 computers, at least 20 miles of wiring, 2 relays, a movement sensor, and a hell of a lot of swearing...

this damn thing was an octopus. it was tied into the DME relay, the fuse box, and the ignition coil. must have saved 3-5 lbs removing this.

I think the same way. What's the point of having so many alarm modules.

if its not for overkill, there would be no kill at all with my PO. for example, he hits the front fender (left side) on a cement post in a parking lot, minor dent and scrape. he paints the car. the same color. dumbass.

I have a partially removed Hofco system that is vampire tapped into the central locking computer. I've been waiting for a cool day to remove the rest of that mess, already taken out the sirens and one of the boxes (the one that kept falling and landing on my clutchin' foot, ripped that POS out while driving) . There are still another 2 boxes and some wiring to be removed yet. Friggin' 1980s technology.

I also have some Viper alarm on mine. I think I'll remove it some day. It still works for now.

you'd think, but it's not. the door has more of a gold hue... I think he just took it to some bad repair shop like Maaco, or some dude's garage to have the damage fixed and they couldn't match it so they painted the whole thing.
