YEAH BABY! Found the problem with both issues! When I took the connector off the DME, I found the first 4 posts covered in green corrosion. Pulled out the DME and busted out the dremmel with a wire brush and got all the green munge out, and cleaned all the contacts as well. Douched it out with a brush and some laquer thinner and blow dry. Used some thinner on a brush on the connector, blow dry and stuck the DME back in and rev limit issue is GONE. Moved on to the cold low idle issue and while moving the contacts (also corroded) on the aforemensioned sensor, idle speed picked up. I need to replace at least one of those terminals because the wire is half eaten off, but at least I know what to do now. Thanks for the help.
