Default Hose Kits for 944 Turbo

Hi everyone, I have an 86 944 turbo. Low miles (60,000) but still has age on all the rubber elements on the engine. Right now the car is apart getting some new gaskets, oil pan separator ect. Looks like a good time to do hoses and belts.

944online.com has two kits available. One for the water hoses #1125411764 (Turbo Water Hose Kit 86-87)and one for the vacume hoses #126417838
(Silicone & Rubber Vacuum Hose Kit with Venturi Delete for 944Turbo )

Has anyone used this company or these kits? Is the Venturi delete a good idea?
Are there any other kits or suppliers I should check into?

Thanks, T.Roy

Check out Lindsey Racing. www.lindseyracing.com

They have everything you need - and great customer service.

Yes - get the venturi delete.

I have used 944online for other things, and have been happy with their service.

They are both reputable companies with very good costumer service. I have used more lindsey racing, but 944online also has great service according to costumers that have dealed with them.

When you get a close look at the old hoses vs the new, think about your FUEL HOSES!

It's not really necessary - not used on the later cars.

And it gets rid of several vacuum hoses under the intake - that are potential sources of vacuum leaks.

Plus, with the kit, you will be replacing a couple of the 24-year old hoses with new ones.

Both 944Online and Lindsey are good sources. I got the Lindsey racing silicone hose kits (Vanturi delete and coolant hoses) I'm happy with them.

So, just to be clear, the advantage of a venturi delete is to eliminate/reduce hoses?

Black51, The venturi delete elimiates areas for potential vacuum leak by cleaning up some of the rats nest under the intake. I beleive that later turbo's had the venturi removed form the factory.

^^^Cool, thanks. Too bad it didn't add some magical HP in the process. No, that would be too cheap...

I have the complete Lindsey silicone hose kit.

They are simply beautiful. They are about double the thickness of the old hoses.

For the price, you cant go wrong.

And shiny hoses look good....
