I checked the OPRV today and it functions properly. I replaced the o ring and washer while I had it out. Replaced. Still sounds like a bucket of bolts at idle and smooth after revving it up..

It just seems like oil is not getting to the top of the engine to all the lifters. the clanking is difinitely from the top of the engine, versus the bottom or underneath.

What do i check next? the Oil Pump?

Re: Loud Engine Knocking and Rattling

I Fixed it Late Last Night after going back over everything. It was a loose Cam Shalf Bolt. The cam shaft sprocket that holds the timing belt must have wobbling back and forth and resonating all that noise through the top of the cam. I torqued it back up, started the car up and Silky smooth once again. Luckily no damage and I'm back on the road again.

Thanks for Everyone's suggestions!!!!
