Hey guys, My son's ZX2 AC is out. He desperately needs to find a shop- I would guess it's plenty hot therre in vegas. I you guys could let me know I would greatly appreiciate it.

He's asking if we know of someone that we trust. Escort or not, a bad shop will screw it up and over charge him for the work.

I say tell your son to go and get a couple quotes and talk to some mechanics around town. Then instruct him to choose between the 2-3 that actually explained things well and from all indication diagnosed the problem correctly. Its never fool proof but he stands a better chance that way.

The story begins because he brought the car to ahigh end shop for a waterpump relacement that cost him $1200- as soon as he picked the car up the AC is out so -yeah I am looking for someone you have used and can be trusted - he knows little about cars. Too busy in sports as a kid I guess..
