Clutch Slave Cylinder
Just making sure. Yesterday, I was driving, and when I went to hit the clutch pedal, it sprung to the floor, no resistance. I coasted into a nearby parking lot, and there was clutch fluid laying on the ground. This is the slave cylinder right? Any chance of this messing up the clutch?

Is there any fluid on the starter? If there's a whole bunch on that then, ya it's most likely the slave. I think the only thing that would ensue after a catastrophically failed slave cylinder is your clutch will be always engaged to the flywheel.

Yeah its all over the starter and exhaust. So all this should be is just a matter of replacing it and the fluid right? And yeah, the clutch is always engaged. Thanks for clearing that up.

Adam it could be the hose also, you have to check it. It should be fairly easy. I just did the slave on my Nissan maxima. It took me Aproximately 30 minutes with bleeding. 944 are a litlebit harder from what I heard. Make sure you disconnect the battery just in case you hit the starter leads. Good luck

Ya, start with the straight forward and cheap stuff first, since the cheap stuff tends to go first, then go from there. Might be a good idea to change both the slave and the line since it's all pretty simple stuff, then both those things aren't ?'s anymore.
