have you had a smog guy get under the car to check the cat?

every time i go to smog i just tell the guy "its got a cat" and he peeks under the hood, thats it lol

In Florida, not only does no one get under the car, but our cars are not even inspected. So, I'm not worried either way. If one of those guys wants to check your car, you will be SCREWED.

Get a bolt in test pipe and just put your cat in for inspection.

where can i get a bolt in test pipe thats cheap and i wouldnt have to buy anything else with it

I don't know about cheap, but virtually all of them are bolt on. PM me and I can hook you up with a guy who can help you for a pretty good price. He's also in Cali.

Just to clarify, I think its called a "test pipe" because it is bolted in, performs a test, then taken out. Thats why they're $600 in polished stainless, huh?
