Not cheap but worth it if you want the real deal.

Yes for a couple or reasons: I wanted to try something different to go with the red calipers and burgundy red interior. It is a silver rose and the "s" from a 996- it's better looking in person in my opinion. I know it's not for everybody but then again it helps to set it a part from other turbos out there. It can be taken off fairly easily so no big deal...

 

How much fabric is needed for the seats?

 

Doug - I got 2 meters which was barely enough to cover 2 sport seats. I would recommend getting 2.5 - 3 meters. It was like $200 per meter from 944werks.

He was able to supply me with original material to match my factory-special-order navy blue w/silver pinstripe fabric which had deteriorated with age.

PERFECT match, when there was NOWHERE else on the web I could find it.
