+1, what he said... M12x1.25 IIRC for the threads on the crossover if you want to remove it, Laust makes EGT probes that are plug and play, and you can order a cap for the port on the crossover from Porsche (unless is it NLA), IIRC it is the same plug used on some of the catalyst ports on some cars.......

That’s the factory hood paint removal system. Take the rubber cap off and drive it hard for a bit and the paint on your hood will start to bubble….

I usually will remove that from any performance built – it is just waiting to fail and blow out very hot gasses under high pressure.

How can you tell that? From the blue cap on the diagnostic port, or the hose clamp on the fuel line at the fender opening?

I believe a lug nut works as a great cap at the crossover as well.

That is if you decide to remove it.
