Default Has anyone ordered from Boostsciences lately?

Just wondering if this is normal. I placed a small order with boostsciences.com at the beginning of the week. All I heard back was the automatic paypal receipt, no order confirmation, no tracking information. I emailed and phoned to try and confirm the order, no email back and no response to my voice mail. Is this normal? Should I just order somewhere else and consider that money spent on a lesson learned?

Don't know about them, but if you give-up, turbohoses.com always ships same day for me.

If you paid by Paypal, you can put in a claim after a week or two if you haven't received anything for your payment. I've done this, and received the refund. Check the Paypal webpage for details. There is a time limit for claims to be registered.

If nothing else, a Paypal claim is likely to get an unresponsive vendors attention. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks guys, I'll give it another week, if nothing shows up or I hear nothing from them I'll go down the PayPal claim route. I checked around before I purchased, didn't seem to be any bad reviews for them.

I ordered my Accuboost from them a few months ago and I remember it took like a week and a half to get it, so wait patiently, they send it the regular cheap old fashioned way, I would give them at least until mid next week before filing a claim...

I also ordered an accuboost from them about a year ago and they were slow but it arrived about 3 weeks after having placing the order. Give them a little time.

I ordered from boostsciences before and the same thing happened to me. Turned out the part I ordered, was backordered.

Just wanted to update this, the site www.boostsciences.com has been suspended. I guess they went out of business between the time I ordered and now. I'll start a complaint with PayPal to try and recover my money, luckily it wasn't too much. What a hassle.

you have to be careful with these types of places.. often it's just some dude selling stuff out of his basement, and not a real business. I always check to see if they list a street address on their contact info, if not I stay away.

That's a shame. The AccuBoost was the best MBC I've ever used. With the ceramic ball option it responded very smoothly and once set it stayed there. Tough times out there for specialty companies.

Agreed KuHL, I learned my lesson on this one. I'd read about them
lots of times, they'd been talked about here since at least 2004,
longer on the mazda boards I researched. Put my order for a
bypass valve in with Lindsey Racing this morning, I hope they're
still around on monday to fill my order...
