Running car without muffler
Is there anything bad about doing this? I like how it sounds but I don't want my car to run lean or anything. It's an 87 951 at 14psi if that matters.

Nothing bad (engine wise) about removing the muffler.

Muffler has no effect on emissions, only noise.

I thought it would matter because of back pressure or whatever

The need for back-pressure is a misnomer...
But regardless, the turbo gives more back-pressure then ever needed anyway.

back pressure is a bad term hey? when realy the magic is a little bit of velocity and harmonics . and any of the magic available happens at the turbo
